The proposals are for an entirely residential development organised around a high-quality new public space.

This is centred on Mill Mead and will enlarge and enhance the existing public footpath that leads from the town centre to the existing residential buildings to the north. The buildings are arranged to step down in height from the higher massing of London Square's development (to the south) to the more open, existing lower-rise housing (to the north).

The proposals comprise 34,690 square metres of GEA of accommodation spread across 2 buildings which will provide 275 apartments and 250 parking spaces.

Car parking is generally hidden within the buildings which will further improve the quality of the open space.
